To do an ice cream photoshoot, here are some steps you can follow for styling:
Choose your setting: Decide on the location where you will shoot your ice cream photos. You can opt for an outdoor setting, such as a park or a beach, or an indoor location, such as a studio or a café. We did the shoot inside the premises of the company itself with studio lights and small set up created on the table.
Choose your props: Think about what props you can use to enhance your ice cream photoshoot. You can use items such as cones, bowls, spoons, napkins, toppings, and even flowers to add color and texture to your photos. We have chosen variety of props, each with its different touch of theme for we had variety of ice creams to cover starting from something classic to something traditional.
Decide on your ice cream flavors: Choose a variety of ice cream flavors that complement each other, and consider adding different toppings and sauces to create visual interest. If you are starting to experiment, go for single or max three flavors and gradually keep adding the touch while you add the product onto the frame. note that the ice creams are of similar sort.
Plan your lighting: Good lighting is crucial for a successful ice cream photoshoot. Choose a well-lit area and use natural light if possible. If you're shooting indoors, make sure you have adequate lighting equipment. It totally depends on where the location is but if it is indoors, the lighting should be sufficient for your styling to come out as you intended it to be.
Style your ice cream: Take the time to style your ice cream in an appealing way. Consider the presentation of the ice cream, how the toppings are arranged, and the overall composition of the shot.
Experiment with angles: Try shooting your ice cream from different angles, such as from above or at a low angle. Experiment with close-ups and wide shots to capture different details.
Edit your photos: Once you've taken your ice cream photos, use photo editing software to enhance your images. Adjust the brightness, contrast, and color balance to make your photos look their best.
Share your photos: Share your ice cream photos on social media or your website. Consider using hashtags to reach a wider audience, and engage with your followers by responding to comments and messages.
